Biodegradable loofah tape cartridge. Typical: ~30 uses/cartridge.

Each segment is dispensed automatically at the ~36″ perforation line as a thin, dry plant-fiber strip. On contact with water, it blooms into a soft loofah ball for a gentle cleanse.

The same segment can be stretched into a back-scrubbing rope; when tension is released, it retracts back to the loofah ball. Two distinct functions—ball and rope—from a single, hygienic consumable.

After use, segments are collected for composting—closing the loop from soil → supply → guest → back to soil. Install is peel-and-stick with high-bond waterproof adhesive—no drilling required.

Dual-function: blooms to ball, stretches to rope, retracts back.

Typical usage per cartridge

~30 single-guest uses per cartridge (property-dependent).

Biodegradation

Designed to bio-degrade in appropriate composting environments.

Packout

cartridges per carton for streamlined storage & replenishment.

Yield & waste

Production yield tuned for low waste; current loss ~%.

Dual-function geometry

Water activation blooms into a loofah ball; stretch into a rope for back reach; retracts back when released.

36″ perforation cadence

Clean tear at ~36 inches provides a consistent, single-guest segment for hygienic use.

Hygiene & safety

Single-guest, single-use segments reduce cross-use risk; dry storage limits microbial growth prior to use.

Operations

Fast install, quick swaps, and predictable consumption support auto-replenishment and inventory planning.

From Product to Portfolio Economics

What hotels are solving for right now

Housekeeping time is scarce, utilities are rising, and guest expectations are higher than ever. Every extra wash cycle consumes water, energy (kWh), and detergent—and towels wear out faster. Loop-ah replaces that cycle with a hygienic, single-guest ritual and contract-first refills that scale cleanly across a portfolio.

Adjust the slider to match your footprint. You’ll see operational reductions (left), the annual units behind them (middle), and the annual value those changes create (right). Water cost includes sewer as a blended rate.
